No more kissing scenes for actor Nayanthara

No more kissing scenes for actor Nayanthara

Their romance is now the talk of Kollywood. If reel life reflects real life, the roles played by Nayanthara and Simbu (Silambarasan) in their latest release, `Vallavan', shows how close the two are.

In fact, Nayanthara has done something bold. She has done the `K' act on screen with Silambarasan. But, the young woman now says, "I will not act in any other kissing scene. (The scene in) `Vallavan' will have my first and last kissing scene," she said, talking to The Hindu from Pune.

Nayanthara is busy doing a dance number with Rajnikanth for `Sivaji'. And no, she refuses to talk about her role in the film.

Why did she do such a glamorous role in `Vallavan'? "Actually, I must thank director Simbu for giving me the chance to portray all kinds of emotions such as joy, sorrow, glamour, and what not. People keep asking me the reason for me playing such a glamorous role in the film. I think that Simbu has given me a bigger chance of portraying various emotions. I did not blindly agree to do even the kissing scene. When I signed up for the movie I heard the story from assistant director Srinath, who clearly told me about the kissing scene. When I heard the story then I understood that it was a must for the film. Only then did I agree to do it. After that I did the photo shoot. I placed total trust in director Simbu and did the role and the kissing scene."

So, will she do it again? Definitely not, she is quick to say. "This is my first and last kissing scene. I did the scene as the story demanded it. I will not do it again for any other film."
