Freida Pinto has a crush on Imran Khan

Freida Pinto Photo, Freida Pinto photo gallery, Freida pictures, Freida Pinto crush on Imran KhanIf we compare the earlier stages of Deepika Padukone in Tinsel town and Freida Pinto, Freida Pinto is more popular then Deepika Padukone. All these fame came from the Oscar award winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. Western media is now following Freida Pinto who is a bueaty combined with good looks and good acting. When having a look at both Deepika Padukone and Freida Pinto, they both share a lot of common things.

Deepika Padukone is known for changing her boy friends like changing her wallet. now Freida Pinto also known for changing her boy friends. Previously Freida Pinto was on love with Rohan Antao which was broken due to the movie Slumdog Millionaire and co star Dev Patel. Now Freida Pinto is having Crush on chocolate boy Imran Khan. when asked Freida Pinto, she said ever since she saw Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na Freida Pinto is having crush on Imran Khan.

Though entertainment media is linking Freida Pinto with Slumdog Dev patel, Freida Pinto says he is just a good friend. Freida Pinto was found shopping with Dev patel and even Anil Kapoor confirmed that they roam around the city like they are Dating.

Till now Freida Pinto had crush on three stars. First Freida Pinto had crush on the Titanic star Leonardo Di Caprio but now she says that Leonardo is her favorite actor and will remain as same. Then she had the crush on her co star Dev Patel and she was dating him for some time. Now it is Chocolate Boy Imran Khan who also a young star in Bollywood. So which one is real? Freida Pinto is moving towards the way Deepika Padukone followed to gain popularity who actually dated
Mahendra Singh Dhoni then Yuvraj Singh which made the Indian cricket team to virtually split into two and then she went back to her ex boy friend Ranbir Kapoor.

Is Aishwarya Rai pregnant?

Is Aishwarya Rai pregnant?

It`s not easy to be a celebrity. And so one can imagine how tough it is to be in a family which has only stars. Yes we are talking about the Amithabh Bachchan family, which is one of the most respectable families of Bollywood. And the one question that is on everyone`s mind is when will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan be pregnant? Never has a celebrity been exposed to such intense media scrutiny as much as Aishwarya Rai. The media went into a frenzy when Aishwarya Rai tied the knot to Abhishek bachchan on April 20 2007, and it looks like that this will now be extended to her pregnancy.

Sometime back Bachchan trio came for the promotion of Ram Gopal Varma`s forthcoming film Sarkar Raj . This film brings the three Bachchans together once again after Bunty Aur Babli . More than that it`s the first film after
Abhishek Bachchan - Aishwarya Rai`s marriage, so it is obvious why the film is generating so much attention and hype.

But more than the plot of Sarkar Raj , everybody was interested to know when would Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek be in the family way. When Amitabh Bachchan was asked when will he become a grandfather, a rather restrained reply came as, "I am already a grandfather. I have two grandchildren." Reacting to his answer another journalist clarified the question and asked, when he will be grandfather of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek`s child. Now Abhi and Aishwarya Rai were totally amazed and wanted to see the person who asked this question.

While not reacting much on it Big B said, " Achcha!! Ab mein dada kab banunga yeh baat mujhse poochne ke bajay (pointed at Abhishek bachchan - Aishwarya Rai) inse pooche to behtar hota! mein aasha karta hu aap film se jude sawaal pooche!" The scribe was not put off by the rebuff, He then looked asked Aishwarya Rai whether she is pregnant or not? As she was about to say no...Big B interrupted and said its better the media sticks to questions related to Sarkar Raaj.

Celebrities in India pay a heavy price for their stardom by losing their privacy. And nobody knows it better that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Angelina and Brad Pitt Attend The Oscars, Their Kids Terrorize The Nanny

Angelina & Brad Attend The Oscars, Their Kids Terrorize The Nanny

Angelina Jolie Kids terrorize nanny at Oscars

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got dressed up and attended the Oscars - calling it a date night. Busy parents of six, they probably don`t get a lot of free time. Sure, they walk the red carpet at different events, but for the most part, they don`t get out much. And what were their children doing to occupy their time? Terrorizing the nanny.... The celebrity couple said they`ve "been planning this for months," and like to "think of it more as a date."

And apparently, according to Angie and Brad, their kids were probably sitting in their big bed, "throwing spaghetti against the wall."

Will there be a big mess when they go home? They said yes, probably, and they hoped so.

See? Angelina and Brad are just like regular parents. Sort of. Okay, not so much, but they have their "normal" moments.

Deepika Padukone is ecstatic

Deepika Padukone is ecstatic!

This was one happy turn of events that even Deepika Padukone might not have dreamt would happen to her.

It was just about a year ago that she was a 'fresh face' model at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. And on Day II, as she arrived to walk the ramp, she was a diva, a Bollywood actress now, and an A-lister at that! Just that morning, she was shooting for "Imtiaz Ali's next. The shooting was at Qutub Minar. And no, it hasn't been titled yet," she says.

But not for a moment did Deepika Padukone show any signs of, to use the oft used phrase, 'having arrived'. She was familiar with the layout of the backstage, and moved with ease between the greenroom and the make-up room backstage. And even as people jostled for her photographs, she smiled, and spoke to those whom she was familiar with, as if she was still one of them.

"I am," she smiled, when asked how it felt to be on the top, so to say, now. "Everything is the same. The choreographers, the designers, the co-ordinators, and some of those who are backstage are the same too."

But, now she's a star... "No. That has made no difference. Everyone has been as warm and appreciative today as ever," smiles Deepika, as the make-up person gives her eyelids a few deft strokes of dark shadow. "Everything is so exactly the same that I don't feel the time lapse. When I came here, I felt as if the last one year hadn't happened to me," she adds. But she did rush for rehearsals.

Did she feel the need for practice now? "That was something I was very particular about even then. Last minute rehearsals are very important," says Deepika. By now, it's time. Deepika needs to get into the dress she has to walk the ramp in. Just how does it feel to be back on the ramp?

"I am excited. A bit nervous too," she admits. "But, this is where I started, and I am sure I am going to enjoy coming back here again and again," she says, minutes before she sails out on to the ramp, amidst thunderous applause.

Junglee Kannada Movie review

Junglee Kannada Movie review

Junglee kannada Movie

Cast: Vijay, Andrita Ray, Rangayana Raghu, Adhi Lokesh, Sureschandra, Megabhagavatar, Kashi, Jaidev, Balu, Naveen

Director: Soori

Producer: Rockline Venkatesh

Soori directed Junglee has an assemblage of many top technicians of the Kannada film industry. Duniya Vijay who earlier got his first break as a hero under Soori has acted in the title role of this film. Since the audio of the film had become a chart buster and the songs had a popular appeal, many film industry personalities had expected this much expected film to revive the depleting fortunes of the Kannada film industry. However the film ends up as an ordinary fare thanks to a confusing script and crude narration by Soori.

Despite excellent song sequences, Andrita`s glamour and a few action sequences featuring Vijay, Junglee has nothing else to write about. Soori`s writing ability which had excelled in his earlier films has gone for a toss in this film. .

Though Vijay enjoys good screen chemistry with Rangayana Raghu, some of the dialogues written for them are in poor taste. And too many sequences look repetitive and irritating. And even the love sequences between the hero and heroine lacks subtlety which lessens the impact. Soori has depended more on the commercial aspects in Junglee than following the pattern seen of presenting harsh realities on screen.

Another weak point Junglee is that film lacks authentic touch. The characters in the film do not represent the characters that we often see in our midst.

The highlight of the film is certainly the songs. The composition and lyrics are good. Yogaraj Bhatt`s lyrics in Hale Paathre and Powder Haakkollo are mass oriented while Jayanth Kaikini writes one brilliant song Neenendhare Nannolage. Andrita Ray looks sensuous and glamorous on screen in all the three songs.

Here is the brief description of the story. Junglee Prabhakar wants to become an actor and takes the help of Gudde Narasimha, a good for nothing person who however is very influential. Gudde takes him to a retired Don Guruswamy for getting him a film offer. Meanwhile, Junglee falls in love with a college girl Padma and tries his best to please her. During one of the inter gang fights between rival groups, Junglee saves Guruswamy. But Padma`s father is killed in the process. Padma wants Junglee to severe his connections with the gang. And there is a big story later told in straight and flash back narration which could be best seen on screen.

Performance wise, Vijay shows his mettle in a few sequences. Rangayana Raghu irritates in a few sequences. Andrita is good in dance sequences. Aadi Lokesh has nothing much to do in the Villain`s role. Nanjunda and Sureshchandra are good in their respective roles. Hari Krishna`s music and Sathya Hegde`s camera work are really good.

Junglee is a mixed bag. It could have been a better film if Soori had worked a little more on the script.

"The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother did not have any milk,He was very hungry - I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk, so I breastfed the baby. You should have seen his eyes, When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying."

Thats the mother`s spirit, no mother sit still when seeing a child crying in hunger. To be frank not even Angelina Jolie who was an UN ambassdaor never done something like this. She was busy with her kids and Brad Pitt without marrying him

Harbhajan, Mona summoned by court for Ravana-Sita dance

Harbhajan, Mona summoned by court for Ravana-Sita dance

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh, actor Mona Singh and an entertainment channel were today issued summons by a local court for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments with their Ravana-Sita dance act in a reality show last year. The summons returnable by April 22 were issued by First Class Judicial Magistrate Rajneesh on a petition filed by NGO activist and local advocate, Arvind Thakur, and spokesman of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vijay Singh.

Thakur, associated with NGO Global Human Rights Council, and the other petitioner had alleged that Harbhajan and Mona had hurt the religious sentiments by their Ravana-Sita dance act in TV show `Ek Haseena Ek Khiladi` telecast by `Colors` channel in October last year. They alleged that an offence under IPC sections 298 (hurting religious sentiments) and 120-B (conspiracy) was made out against them.

Soon after the controversy, the cricketer had tendered an apology for playing `Ravana` in the TV show and vowed not to repeat such actions, which may hurt the religious sentiments of any community. At that time, the petitioner NGO had claimed that in view of the cricketer`s apology an application would be moved seeking withdrawal of his name from the complaint but the matter against Mona and the channel would continue.

However, Thakur has now said that the matter against Harbhajan had not ended since he had "declined to come to court to apologise.

Bad times and bad blood of bollywood

Bad times and bad blood of bollywood

THE DISTANCE between the old world dens of traditional Bollywood producers and the swank floors of corporate giants just got wider - and bloodier. The knives are out as spiralling budgets and star prices collide with a liquidity crunch that has resulted in dozens of films being halted mid-production.

And many completed films are awaiting buyers. Trade consultant and distributor Amod Mehra estimates that Bollywood lost some Rs 600 crore last year.

"It is a situation of our own making and the recession is just a convenient excuse for all the over-spending, over-budgeting and over-pricing of the last couple of years," he insists. Star prices have shot up 500 per cent and more over the last few years, he says, pushing budgets over Rs 40 and 50 crore.

"There are just five or six saleable actors and about 50 producers. So the corporates started offering fantastic sums to lure them," points out director Madhur Bhandarkar, who says his costliest film, Fashion (for UTV) cost only Rs 17.5 crore .

"This is just the beginning. After March 31, when the corporates have to declare their balance sheets, all those figures pumped up to increase their share prices will come out," Bhandarkar predicts.

Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films, known for their low-budget hits, has solved one problem by steering clear of big stars. "My job is to make stars, not work with them - not at their current stupid, unrealistic prices," he declares.

The corporates, however, say they are just being treated as punching bags. "We - some four or five corporates - have become convenient fall guys," protests Ram Mirchandani, chief operating office of UTV Rampage Motion Pictures.

He insists that all the talk of Rs 60-crore deals with stars were "very inflated", though he does not reveal any UTV figures. UTV also had low-budget successes like Aamir, A Wednesday and Welcome to Sajjanpur last year, Mirchandani points out.

Sandeep Bhargava, CEO of Indian Films Company and Studio 18, is more caustic. "Independent producers think their forefathers have been in the business and they have movies in their blood," he says.

"But the corporates have shown they can stand, walk and now run, in the business in a few years` time." Bhargava turns the tables by saying, "The independent producers were making 200 to 300 per cent profits and that`s why the actors started asking for higher fees.

" All agree, however, that the year ahead is likely to be grim. "We won`t take too many leaps of faith in the coming year," Mirchandani says.

"And if a script has a hero who wants to do some soul searching, he`ll have to do it in Bangkok, not Europe.".
