Rajinikanth highest paid actor in India

RajiniKanth, the super star of Tamil Cinema is the highest paid actor in India and second Highest paid Flim actor next to Jackie chan. Recently Hirthik is paid 10 Crore for a flim (30 crore for 3 flims) from adlabs. Even though the Bollywood stars Payment seem a laugh if we see the payment of South indian especially Tamil flim industry stars.

Rajinikanth is paid more than what khans or Amitabh bachan is paid. Every new flim of Rajinikanth is breaking/ setting a new record in flim Industry, which is making him a highest paid Tamil cinema flim actor and Hidhest paid Indian Actor. For rajinikanth's new flim Sivaji (the Boss) he is getting paid of sum Rs 16 crore. This is an amount which is more than what rajinikanth recieved for his earlier flim Chandramuki.

This payment of Tamil Cinema Industry is mind blogging for outsiders and Bolloywood biggies like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh khan and Salman Khan. They Don't even earn 7 crore each for a flim, but their flims are distributed All over the world. recently Don which was acted by Shah Rukh khan has earned USD 800000 in US and USD 500000 in Uk. But their salary is 7 Crore. But Rajnikanth movies are released in South India and some Countries where tamil people lives.

Recently Rajinikanth Tapped a market which is very busy in work. Now the new market is converting itself from busy work to entertainment. The new market has no tamil speaking people rather they speak Japanese. There is a record break for a South Indian movie ran five continous years.

But those who produce Rajinikanth's flims say Rajinikanth is worth the price. Chandramukhi, Rajni's last film, earned Rs 50 crore at the box office, which is a record in Tamil Nadu. All Producers will be happy to do flim with Rajinikanth because they quote that "We make enough money on a Rajni film. So much so that we can make another film. So we don't have any problems paying him this much,"

The Win run of Rajinikanth's flims seems to be unchecked. At Age 56 he is still on the Race where the youngsters are dominating the tamil flim industry. There was only one non record setter which was before four years Baba which by Rajni standards was a flop. It earned only Rs 20 crore.

After Baba, Rajinikanth faced lot of criticism from both flim industry and also political industry but he bounced back with his style in Chandramuki which was orginally a Malayalam movie. After Chandramuki Rajinikanth decided to cut the number of movies (already one per two years) but rajinikanth's fans are exepecting a change in mind.

The upcoming movie Shivaji is directed by Shankar, the hottest director of Tamil Flim Industry, and produced by AVM one of the biggest producers of Tamil flim industry. Being Shankar's flim it is been shot for year now."Rajni is always afraid whether the director should be able to present him in the way the masses like him. So Rajnikant himself controls the script and directs the film to a large extent," said Sreedhar Pillai, a film critic. Rajinikanth works only with the Biggest and the Bust in Flim Industry, this is also a reason of his run. "When we sign him on, we are able to cover all expenses. When I met Rajnikanth, I gave him Rs 1,001 as advance. I said I will pay your salary in a few days and he said he will take his payments later after the film's completed," said A V M Saravanan, Producer, Sivaji.

One of the reasons for Rajnikanth's skyrocketing rates is that he is Tamil flim industrie's lone superstar after MGR, while four to five big heroes rule Bollywood. Realities that even his co-actors accept. "Finally Rajnikant stands on top. In the film, Jyothika's done a great job. I had a good role. Vidyasagar gave very good music. But finally it was a Rajni starrer. We were all there, but it was a success because Rajni was there. You need a Rajni for that," said Prabhu, Co-star, Chandramukhi.
