Return of Indian Cricket team´s Winning Spirit

Return of Indian Cricket team's Winning Spirit

We need a coach who shuts the mouth and foucs his attention towards game. Nothing else, It can be Greg Chappell, it can be Tom moody, It can be you also. Sacking for each and every loss is not a solution. You said right the same team performed in the past but y not now. We need to find the root cause for the problem. May be a psychologist will help a lot in team.

Previously we had problems with fitness not fitness is not a problem. I believe our players is under some indirect threat. It may be because of coach / management / we people and our expectation/ ganguly inclusion / WC Cup / or some personal problems. We need to find that and solve that.

I can say one thing guys, Donot expect a world cup 07. Donot force the team at this stage. Let them come out of their bad patch. Same thing happened when we had a tour in Newzealand before WC04 we were down like anything but during that time we atleast performed in WC. This time i donot have any hope for that. Not having a WC Cup for India in 2007 may relieve one threat from their mind.

Are we having any tour during next month. If it is just we need to cancel that and pay the fines. Pick a team of 20 and let them play with each and every state ( 30 days 26 states). This will provide a warm up and maybring the form back. Each and every game must be analysed properly by experts (not from management) and provide feedback regarding each and every player capability.

This way we can raise the confidence of the team. Papers must not reveal anything bad about player and their performance during this time. This creates a lot of impact in the players mind. None must speak about players for a month. Thus they will be left alone to think and reborn.

This method may be a costly affiar but a very effective way to improve soon.

Another way

Disclaimer : All these are long term solutions and in no-way linked to the next year's WC...

(1) Immediate thing to solve is the confidence level... We've to somehow schedule a series against Zim to get back to the winning ways... Its a bit crazy and silly but a win is as gud as it gets...

(2) Have to ask the players not to play for their places... For that, a minimum guarantee of their places must be given... (I think this is followed currently, so we can lv this)

(3) Ppl have to ramp up their technical skills quickly... especially the batsmen... for example, if u can't find a way to counter a short-ball atleast learn to evade them... "live today; fight tomoro" must be the motto for now... once we start getting our confidence back, explode as u like...

(4) Bowlers got to keep wrkin on how to clean up the tail... wen ever the top-order falls, they shud be able to maintain the pressure for the remainder of the match...

(5) Fielding shud always complement the bowling... No need of a New Zealand fielding effect, at least a Lankan fielding effort is enuf...

(6) Dravid shud not allow the feeling of losing to disturb him... As they say, don't allow victories to get to ur head and losses to get to ur heart... Am not worried with Dravid on the first part, but the latter seems to be his pblm (atleast I think so)...

(7) Greg shud stop advertising his trng methods, how much ever modern they might be... Let him conduct Kho-Kho, military trng etc., but don't advertise it....

(8) Dravid should think/act more aggressively... I think as Wow mentioned, once He gets back the confidence, he'll start thinking more aggressively

(9) We need to have/develop couple of allrounders in the team, who r cabale of bowling 10 0vers decently (more of containing types).. and contribute atleast with an average of 22 with the bat...
