Why Indian Cricket Don't want Tendulkar anymore

Tendulkar, the little master of Indian cricket, started his career at the age of 16 still playing for India. Tendulkar is the only batsman in the world who has number of records in his pocket. Some of the Tendulkar records are

• First Batsman to reach 14000 Runs
• Highest number of Man of the matches
• Highest number of hundreds in both forms of cricket
• Young captain in the world

Tendulkar served Indian Cricket for more than 18 years and holds number of records. There is too little more to perform for Sachin. He attained every heights of cricket at very young age. He was the pillar of Indian cricket and Indian batting line up. But why don't we need him anymore for Indian Cricket.

As much as he broke the records, or scored great runs for country, Tendulkar became more vulnerable for injuries. Recent years Sachin received a number of injuries in elbow and operated and was subjected to go for resting from cricket for some time. Due to the injuries Sachin became more vulnerable in batting and also for team. Most of the bowlers in the world now target Sachin's dennis elbow to restrict his shots in the game. This makes Sachin to get pressurized and subjecting himself to do mistakes. When Sachin makes mistakes it becomes a big liability for the team. This makes Sachin not to stay on crease for long time duration. During 1996, When Sachin is in crease, it is like a volcano which is about to erupt. But from 2000 it is like drizzling rain.

During 1992 to 1997, if Sachin is out then most of the Indian fans switch off the television and move to other works, because that is the time Sachin is at his peak. He led the team from front. During that period he received lot of honors and Even Cricket Don Sir Bradman said Tendulkar is playing like Him and he is impressed to watch his game. But after the regime of Sourav Ganguly the prince of Bengal, Ganguly poured lot of young bloods who has capability to win the game and stand till the end. One such find is Rahul Dravid the current Indian team captain who once considered as a test cricketer not a one day cricketer. Then Ganguly found Yuvraj Singh, the future captain who has wonderful bat with perfect timing. Like these two players India found number of winning players who can take the responsibility from Tendulkar.

The dependence on Tendulkar got reduced a lot and youngsters took charge of taking the game till the end. This made Tendulkar to reduce the pressure and get relaxed. Tendulkar contributed more to the team in bowling than batting. In crucial matches Tendulkar bowling makes more difference than the regular bowlers. On an average Tendulkar bowls at least 5 overs in any ground.

Tendulkar means more runs! Yes it is true if Tendulkar is in the crease there will be more runs in the scoreboard. He is the batsman who can score runs even from an odd ball. But recent form of Tendulkar is not up the mark like the player he was during 1996. More over his injuries and the movement are well recorded in each and every laptop of all teams. Every team analyzed the videos properly and worked out with a plan for restricting Tendulkar. This makes Tendulkar to waste some balls. In crucial matches wasting balls means you are going away from the winning.

More over now the young players who are in the team takes more responsibility in the game to move forward. Some times they fail to deliver their promise which can be rectified by gaining experience. The players like Dhoni, Dinesh Karthick, and Yuvraj Singh can take the pressure and can bring the runs to the team. This will bring the young talent into the team and will be able to build the new team for future.

Injury stops a man to give 100% contribution for country. Tendulkar has more injury than any other players in the squad. These injuries stop him from providing his 100% effort towards the game. But he tries to give his 100% but at some crucial games he is not able to handle the pressure as he did just some time before. While chasing huge totals, Tendulkar is under tremendous pressure which makes him not to perform in the game. When he goes over defensive Tendulkar tend to slow down the run rate thus reducing the hope of winning the match. Finally when he tries to accelerate the run rate, it back fires and he give away his wickets after wasting many balls.

After contributing 18 years as an opener for a team, Tendulkar was moved down to middle order by the management. It provides an opportunity for the management and the captain to experiment new players for the opening slot. But this further restricts the run making of Tendulkar in middle overs. As of now Tendulkar is on 2 down but if the game requires he further goes down the batting lineup. It can be said as a good tactics to cover up the problems by delaying but it might back fire during later stages. But Tendulkar got adjusted to middle order and he is scoring even in the limited number of balls that he gets while batting. All can say that, this provides option to strengthen the middle order, but the truth is Tendulkar is blocking the management to find a good young player who can strengthen the middle order and can able to play for another 10 years.

More over now Tendulkar is aged (but can perform for another two years), this is the time to move out of game by himself and fill some youngster in his place. This will ensure the young guns to learn from other experienced players and can lead the game.
