For reasons unknown, last week, Nayantara was said to have attempted suicide. The glamour doll denied the rumour brandishing it as a malicious act. While talking about this, the actress commented, "I am a brave girl and have enough courage to face life.

Secondly, my career is at its best peak. So why should I even attempt a suicide?" According to her such rumours are spread by people with vile intentions and by people who cannot tolerate her success in the film world.

A round of SMS and Internet messages that Nayantara had attempted suicide caused a great deal of commotion in Tamilnadu and Andhra yesterday.

Yesterday's papers had headlines screaming that Nayantara attempted suicide.

For good or worse, Nayantara always hogs the headlines. On Tuesday (Feb 13), rumors floated thick and fast that she had attempted suicide again. But it turned out to be false. What really happened is that she collapsed at Cochin airport to giddiness and she was immediately rushed to hospital. Rumors began circulating that Nayantara had attempted suicide. Remember such rumors also floated two months ago.

This time the reason cited was that she is upset with her private photos being published in media. Many websites and Tamil film magazines published private photos of her former lover Shimbu and hers. So rumor was that she had attempted suicide as she felt they were humiliating. But there is no truth in it.

Nayantara is on her way to Hyderabad from Cochin to join the shooting of Dubai Srinu. This Ravi Teja starrer is presently being canned in Hyderabad. On Tuesday some scenes were shot at Charminar area. Due to ill health, she didn't attend the shoot.

The actress is giving a tough competition to all the actresses just not in tamil films but also tollywood. It is known that an over zealous reporter had written this baseless story and there is no truth in the matter at all. I am a very bold person adds the actress.

Meanwhile, hearing such news, a lot of Telugu producers who have planned to book her in their films have started approaching other artistes.

It is natural for the producers to feel this way as there is so much of money at stake. But now Nayantara is on an appeasing trip with Telugu producers trying to assure them that it is only a rumour.
