McGrath to coach Indian youngsters this month

Retired Australian pacer Glenn McGrath will take his first step towards a coaching career when he arrives in India to share his experience with young cricketers here and Hyderabad later this month.

McGrath will interact with around 300 junior cricketers selected by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) during his day-long stay in Kolkata.

The World Cup's Most Valuable Player will also visit Hyderabad and conduct a similar session with junior players there.

An excited CAB President Prasun Mukherjee said he wants the selected juniors to learn as much as they can from the legend, who finished his career as one of the leading wicket-takers of all time.

"From the CAB point of view I am very excited about Glenn McGrath coming here. All the bowlers from right from Ranji to under-15 level should take maximum advantage of this opportunity," he said.
