Sania Mirza strikes back in Korean open

Sania Mirza the new Indian tennis Pinup girl avenges her defeat in sunfeast open held here in Kolkatta by defeating Martina Hingis with 4-6 6-0 6-4.

Sania Mirza seeded 59th in world ranking meet Martina Hingis seeded 8th in world rank today in Hansol Korea Open on Thursday. Sania, upstaged the top seed in the second round of the $145,000 hardcourt tournament and avenged her last week's Sunfeast open semifinal loss at the hands of the comeback swiss miss.

This was Sania's third encounter against Matina Hingis who was formar World number one (Age of 19) who is better in the Dubai and Indian Open. Sania Mirza lost first set and raised in second set forced Martina hingis to struggle. It was a hard win for Sania who was happy with this big win.

When Contacted by reporters Sania Mirza said "All games are different, all weeks are different and this proves that." Also Sania Mirza said she was prepared to face Hingis this time since she found Martina Hingis in last game for her angled shots which opened the court for Hingis.

The victory would come as a big boost to Sania, who has found her going tough this year in the WTA circuit after having caught the attention of the tennis world with her rise last year that saw her reach the rankings of world no 30.

Martina Hingis Commented about Sania about her angled shots this time and the hard returns.

Surely Sania proved herself as a Tigress from India. The tiger goes back before keeping a big attack. Like that she went back be one set to keep a big jump in her career.
