Smell of the victory

Bangladesh eliminated India from world cup in group B yesterday. the group B of cricket world cup 2007 is called as Group of Death. As the two nations who are with a lot of experience in the game against a team which is not having much experience. But everything turned upside down when those teams clashed for their position for super eights.

Sri Lanka, the unbeaten team lead by jayawardane, is the only team which escaped from the hammers of bangladesh. The new dark horse of cricket world cup 2007 beat India in its first match and then got a loss against Sri Lanka. Mean while India the Asian giant and the richest cricketing body in the world clashed with Bermuda and Srilanka and won bermuda. This made Indian cricket team a virtual exit in the group stage itself.

A Billion prayers was made for bermuda to beat Bangladesh which meet at Queens Park oval yesterday. I think the rain God heared the prayer and opened his blessings in Queens park, which resulted a Thirty30 match against Bermuda and Bangladesh. Every one thouoght Bangladesh will win easily but lot of hope on some Bermuda players who looked promising. But Yesterday Bermuda failed to produce a knock which all indians wanted it to.

Bangladesh tasted its first victory in a major game and now advanceing to super eights asa dark horse. This time kenya got trashed (remember they trash big teams in every world cup) and got eliminated. So there is a dark horse from minnows (bangladesh) and also from a test playing nation (new Zealand). Lets wait and see who is going to win the cup of willows.
