Los Angeles (E! Online) - Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are entering a state of divorce.

The Hollywood twosome, who fell in love on the set of the 1990 thriller State of Grace and later married, are seeking a divorce after 11 years of marriage, according to People.

Penn's longtime publicist, Mara Buxbaum, did not provide details on the split.

The 47-year-old actor-director and the 41-year-old Wright began dating about a year after Penn ended his four-year union to Madonna in 1989.

The couple quickly hit it off and moved in together in 1991. They had two children, 16-year-old Dylan Frances and 14-year-old Hopper Jack, and finally tied the knot in 1996.

Penn raised eyebrows in April when he appeared at a Hollywood police station in the wear hours to comfort Eve following her DUI arrest. Police described Penn as simply "a friend" of the rapper-actress and he declined to comment on the visit.

The actor, who has been making headlines in recent years as an outspoken critic of the Bush administration and the Iraq War, won an Academy Award for his stirring performance as a father whose child is murdered in 2003's Mystic River. He also scored Best Actor Oscar nominations for 1995's Dead Man Walking, 1999's Sweet and Lowdown and 2001's I Am Sam.

Aside from Grace, the Dallas-born Wright Penn costarred with her Oscar-winning hubby in 1997's She's So Lovely and 1998's Hurly Burly, and they are reuniting in Barry Levinson's suddenly aptly titled Hollywood satire, What Just Happened?, which will debut at next month's Sundance Film Festival. She has also appeared in two flicks Penn has helmed, 1995's The Crossing Guard and 2001's The Pledge, both starring Jack Nicholson.

The actress, who was previously married for two years to actor Dane Witherspoon, shot to fame playing the titular royal Buttercup in the 1987 hit The Princess Bride. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 1994's Forrest Gump.

Penn's most recent directorial effort, Into The Wild, is currently being lauded by various critics groups as the best film of 2007, so far earning two Golden Globe nods and four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.

Arrogant Kareena trashes Priyanka Chopra!

Kareena's love-hate relationship with Priyanka Chopra seems to be far from over. In a recent interview with a leading tabloid she decalred herself the only actress in town besides Rani Mukherji. When quizzed about her biggest competition Kareena responded, "The only actress of my generation that I really like is Rani. I don't see any other actresses."

And when the journo stopped her to name Priyanka and Bipasha who are doing reasonably well Kareena in all her 'humility' replied, "I said 'actresses". "They are actresses…" the journo retorted to which Bebo said, "I only consider Rani to be an actress."

Apparently, Priyanka is miffed at the unnecessary dig at her but she has a much more balanced head on her shoulders and perhaps that's why she chose her words very carefully to respond to Kareena. "Bebo is a more senior and hopefully more mature actress than me. I guess she's qualified to comment on my caliber," says Priyanka and adds, "When I reach her level of experience maybe I too can comment on the caliber of my contemporaries and juniors. I'd just like to let my work speak for me."

So what's the problem between Priyanka and Kareena anyway?

"I don't know. From my end there's none. I recently met her at a Diwali party. And she was fine with me. Only she can answer why she thinks so poorly of me. As far as I'm concerned I think she was splendid in 'Jab We Met'. I like to give credit where it's due. And you know what? On some level it's flattering when colleagues give you importance."

Priyanka gets introspective: "I love my work. I love my friends who are loyal to me. Nothing and no one else matters. I've already had enough to stress at home with my father's illness. I'd like only positive energy to be spread through my work."

Balaji disappointed with Billa-2007!

Balaji, the producer of original Billa with superstar Rajini has politely refused to comment on the demerits of the new version Billa. After seeing the special projection of the film at Four Frames, Balaji said this to our correspondent, "The new version of Billa is very stylish and looking grand. But I am disappointed a bit for the omission of the cameo roles done by late Thengai Srinivasan, Manorama and Ashokan. They have to concentrate more on comedy area... Otherwise there is nothing to comment about it... "

Balaji was done an important role as DSP Alexander in the original version, apart from a producer. Earlier, Ajith had arranged a special show for his costars like Vijay, Surya, and Karthi in the same venue a couple of days before. After the screening, Ajith hosted a party to his costars including Vijay at Taj Coramandal.

Katrina slaps Akshay kumar

All eyes are on actress Katrina Kaif once again with her film Welcome getting ready for release. She had rubbished off the rumours that she had parted ways with boyfriend Salman Khan but she is not speaking well of him either. She seems to have said that he is not her secretary. On the other hand, her relationship with Akshay Kumar has become really strong.

In fact, she said that she loves working with Akshay and that they look good together. She seemed to have great time working with him in Welcome. She revealed that she slapped him tight on the face once during the shooting of the film. It so seemed Akshay told her to slap her hard during the shooting of a sequence, as he was tired of retakes. She slapped him hard but he took it like a hero.

Ironically, Salman is said to be not happy with Katrina's close rapport with her co stars especially Akshay Kumar, as they look hot together. Meanwhile, Katrina's career is on a new high at the moment with a few projects on hand. Salman-Katrina affair damaged beyond repair!

Bollywood bad boy Salman Khan is in for another heartbreak. His affairs with Somy Ali, actress Sangeeta Bijlani and actress Aishwarya Rai (now Aishwarya Bachchan) did not have happy endings unlike typical Hindi movies. Now, another news is doing the rounds that his two-year-old relationship with Katrina Kaif is coming to an end.

It is said that trouble started brewing between the lovebirds as early as this January during Salman's birthday bash. The actor pushed her aside when she stopped him from drinking too much.

It seems Salman is not happy with Katrina's chemistry with Akshay Kumar in Namastey London. The film did well at the box office, and now, they are currently shooting together in Australia for Vipul Shah's Singh Is King. It is also said that Salman was not happy when Katrina signed Rajkumar Santoshi's film with Shahid Kapoor without taking his consent.

Adding more fuel to the fire, Salman seems to have called Firoz Nadiadwala to change the promos of the film Welcome, which has Katrina and Akshay. He thinks Katrina's skirts in the promos is too short. However, Katrina told Nadiadwala not to change the scene when the filmmaker informed her about the complaint. She however denied that Salman had called up Nadiadwala but not before saying that he is not the director of the film.

A unit member present on the sets says, “A new designer had given the bikini to Kim but it looked like a outdated Maidenform brassiere with a voluminous chaddi. Kim"s friends fell off their beds laughing when she showed it to them. Finally she had to pull out one of her own bikinis from the cupboard, which was quite conservative and not at all what Kim wanted."

The source says, “Kim was naturally very upset but decided not to say anything as she didn"t want to throw a tantrum. Kim had wanted very sexy and glamorous look with gold tan and makeup. But with her own bikini, Kim really didn"t have that choice."

The source adds that Kim even fell sick, “The unit was shooting on the beach all day in the sun and it was really hot. Kim was not used to that kind of heat. The same day, she had to come back to Mumbai for the Navy Ball so she had to complete the shoot.

Though Kim suffered a severe case of sunburn and started feeling sick and nauseous, she decided to keep quiet and felt fine by the time she reached the airport. Otherwise, she had a blast shooting in Mauritius."

Kim has this to say, “I didn"t want to say anything as that would have meant a delay in shooting. Kumarji is a great producer and always looks after the entire cast and crew. I had fun shooting in Mauritius. I think

I fell sick because I was shooting in the cold sea and then coming out on the hot beach. Something even worse had happened when I was shooting for Kudiyon Ka Zamana. I was just recovering from jaundice and there was a doctor on the sets to give me injections in between shots."

The secret behind Deepika's dance in OSO

'Dhoom Tana' in Om Shanti Om presented Deepika Padukone with the actors of the yesteryears. We got Red Chillies VFX team to explain the process.

Stage 1
The team had to locate the original footage of the films they had short listed. The three song sequences appeared in Amrapali (1966, Sunil Dutt and Vyjayantimala), Saccha Jhutha (1970, Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz) and Jay-Vijay (1977, Jeetendra and Jayashree T). Not always in the best condition, the original footage had to be scanned, carefully restored and cleaned up to the best possible quality on the computers.
Stage 2
Keeping in mind, the set of the films, the camera angles and the lighting, Deepika Padukone was shot in present dressed in similar costumes as the yesteryear actresses to further enhance that '70's look. She pretended to dance with the actors by romancing an imaginary hero.

Stage 3
The original actresses, i.e. Vyjanthimala, Mumtaz and Jayashree T. were removed from the sequences. All this of course, was done with the help of the Red Chillies" VFX (visual effects) team. Sequences where the camera was moving and the actors were in contact were specially chosen, so as to provide opportunity for Deepika to dance along with them as opposed to posing. Things to note were the eye contact between the actors, physical touch, lighting continuity, perspective matching, skin tones matching, color matching, etc.

Stage 4
Deepika's footage was pasted in place of the actual actresses" footage. The technical term for this is compositing. Thus, it seems that she has been locked in the same frame as legends, Sunil Dutt, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra. The song truly was a treat to watch. And now some of our wonder and amazement has been satisfied. Keitan Yadav, COO of Red Chillies VFX asserted that the idea was to give a feel of the era and is glad that they seemed to have succeeded.

He adds that "there are about 200 additional shots in the film where VFX is used like the snow-flakes in the globe, Sharukh Khan and Deepika turning real and dancing in the globe, the Mother India fire sequence, Shantipriya"s death sequence and the climax sequence."

Welcome to Katrina's marriage party

Katrina Kaif is currently busy with welcoming people to her upcoming marriage party. Well, it's not exactly that of her real life but for the upcoming film Welcome. In Welcome you can see her as the cynosure of four men's eyes. And that made the damsel quite excited as she describes the shooting experience "as great fun". Says Katrina,"We enjoyed it. Nana was very sweet. He used to call me his daughter. He is hardcore Marathi and I am a modern western girl. So my bonding was good with him. Anil Kapoor and Feroz Khan have played fantastic characters. This is my fourth film with Akshay which I had signed even before Namastey London, so it was great fun."

But was there any discord between her and co-star Mallika Sherawat ? "No, no, we have hardly any scenes together. We hardly ever met. She comes in the second half of the film. She's a temptress, who is playing between Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. She's very different and funny in the film".

And did Mallika try to copy Katrina's hairstyle and clothes in Welcome as was reported? Katrina plays safe with her answer. "Everybody has his/her own way of working. So let them live it the way they want to. Live and let live. I have nothing to say about it. I don't think it bothers me," she says trying to put rumours to rest.

There were also talks about Katrina getting a Gucci dress as a gift. She snaps, "I am tired of telling everyone it's not Gucci but Emilio Pucci. People have got it all wrong. I had seen this dress on a magazine cover so I went to their store in Worli but since it was very expensive, I didn't buy it. It was sweet of them to gift it to me. But I am not going to visit Emilio Pucci in Italy. Then too I hope they gift me more dresses".

After Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, Katrina is doing Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvraaj' where Salman is cast opposite her. "It's a comedy and I am looking forward to this film. It's something very special. It's all about the equation between a boy's character and a girl's character. Subhashji is presenting it very nicely. It was a huge learning experience for me".

And then was the time to get a little personal. Salman Khan will be immortalized in wax very soon and we had to know Katrina's reaction. Katrina was also cleverly happy telling, "It's wonderful. I am very glad for him since he has represented the industry for so many years. He is popular here and I am happy for him".

But then she preferred not to talk more. "Right now I don't want to talk of Salman or myself. It is too personal and I don't want to talk about my personal life. I rather talk about my films, which I am looking forward to."

But what about the rumours doing the rounds that the film with Raj Kumar Santoshi was shelved because of Salman? Clarifies Kat, "It's complete nonsense. The script was on the similar lines of Jab We Met. Maybe I will work with Raj Kumar Santoshi again in the future."

Trisha's wishes to dub her own!

Finally, Trisha, the leading actress in South India has decided to say good bye to her voice giver Savitha. Hereafter, Trisha will speak on her own sweet voice. A couple of days before, the actress expressed her willingness to dub her own voice in her forthcoming film Abiyum Naanum.

Though the actress is a Tamil girl by birth and fluent in the language too, she avoided dubbing her voice in her earlier movies. But after seeing Asin and Nayanthara, the Malayalee girls always using their own voices for dubbing, Trisha also has come forward to dub her voice in Abhiyum Naanum. She has also requested all her present producers to allow her dub her voice.

According to the sources, Radha Mohan, the director of Abhiyum Naanum is yet to take a decision, but it is believed that he would give his nod to Trisha to speak herself in his movie.

Everyone knows that an actor should dub his/her own to be considered for National Award for acting. Since Abhiyum Naanum gives Trisha a lot of scope to showcase her acting skills, the wish of Trisha to dub for her own is quite understandable!

On my Birthday

Dear Loved Ones,

As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.

It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.

I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face... and I wanted to be with them and share their table.

In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited,! I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus"...as if the party were in his honor!

At 12 Midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and ... do you know ... no one hugged me.

Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.

What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.

I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party.

I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invitation will be left outside.

Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.

Inventing the light bulb was just a 2,000-step process. If you can adopt that attitude, then you can be free to take an action, notice what result you get, and then adjust your next actions based on the feedback you have received.

Ready, Fire, Aim! - Don't be afraid to just jump in and get started moving toward your goals. As long as you pay attention to the feedback you receive, you will make progress. Just getting into the game and firing allows you to correct and refine your aim.

The Most Valuable Question You May Ever Learn - In the 1980s, a multimillionaire businessman taught me a question that radically changed the quality of my life. This is where the really valuable information comes from. Knowing that a person is dissatisfied is not enough. Knowing in detail what will satisfy them gives you the information you need to do whatever it takes to create a winning product, service or relationship.

There are two kinds of feedback you might encounter negative and positive. We tend to prefer the positive that is, results, money, praise, promotion, raise, awards, happiness, inner-peace, etc. It feels better. It tells us we are on course and doing the right thing.

We tend not to like negative feedback -- lack of results, little or no money, criticism, poor evaluations, complaints, unhappiness, inner conflict, pain, etc.

However, there is as much useful data in negative feedback as there is in positive feedback. It tells us that we are off course, headed in the wrong direction, doing the wrong thing. This is priceless information!

In fact, it's so valuable that one of the most useful projects you could undertake is to change how you respond to negative feedback. I like to refer to negative feedback as information for "improvement opportunities." Here is a place where I can get better.

Ask Yourself for Feedback - In addition to asking others for feedback, you need to ask yourself for feedback, too. More than any other source of feedback, your body will tell you whether or not you are on course or not. When you are relaxed and happy, your body is telling you that you are on track. When you are constantly exhausted, tense, in pain, unhappy and angry, then you are off track.

Take time to listen to what your body is saying to you. Take time to listen to your physical sensations and your feelings. They are sending you important messages. Are you listening?

Remember, Feedback Is Simply Information you don't have to take it personally. Just welcome it and use it.

Its not too often that Salman Khan comes across his one time love Aishwarya Bachchan. Sallu and Ash were both invited at a recent wedding reception of the Wizcraft MD. Find the Upside - After journaling and exercising you are in a better state of mind to discover the opportunity. What doors have now opened? How can solving the problem improve your game?

Watch Your Highlight Reel - Think about the last time you made it through a setback. What worked? How did you feel when you moved on? Visualize your past successes. They'll give you the confidence to move on. They may also provide clues to solving this problem.

Strategize - Create a plan. Find out a way to get the client back, to find new love, to get stronger after an illness. Whatever it is, planning will put you back in control. Then include this plan in your schedule because what gets scheduled gets done.

Trick 1:

Your salary:

For any credit cards or insurance or personal loans, your salary is the most important factor. Whenever they ask about salary tell the lesser amount or tell them you are not employed. In many cases this will stop the callers to proceed and remove your mobile number from their database. To get a basic credit card in India you need to have at least 5000 Rs per month as salary.

Trick 2:

Be a defaulter

No banks will be interested in issuing a credit card or open an account for a defaulter. Some time back I tried this with Citi bank, they called me for a credit card continuously for a week. First I was not interested in telling them. Then one fine day I told them that, I am interested in your credit card. They immediately showed a lot of enthusiasm in giving the card. I asked for the credit limit which they said I get 100 thousand rupees. I immediately told them that that's awesome and I can purchase a lot of goods with the card. I added them that, I will never repay the money for the bills. They immediately asked why? For which I replied as “It's you who is giving me a card, not I came to you for a card. So why do I need to pay for the card which I get from you which you are insisting me to take”. Next moment the caller disconnected the call and from that day I never received any call from Citi for any product.

Trick 3:

Be a sick person always

For insurance, you must be a healthy person to avail any insurance. To stop insurance company call, just pretend to be sick. Be a cancer or a heart patient. I even tried this with an insurance company and gave a fruitful result. TATA AIG life insurance called me for a medic claim policy, all their trainers are well trained, and they start like this “Hello sir you know that the medical expenses in India is very high. TATA AIG has a best medic claim policy which will suit you in any kind of expenses u do”

Be patient for the first time because first time patience will stop these calls in future, ask them about the product and the premium to pay. Finally say them that you have heart problems or cancer or some disease which will not be covered in the medic claim. This will result in immediate disconnection of call and the insurance company will remove the number from its database.

There are lot more tricks which can save you from getting these idiotic calls. I cannot list all of them here because of the fact that some marketers might see here. So find out yourself. These are basic tricks to keep marketers at bay.

Sonali Kulkarni thus joins the gang of Bollywood damsels like Mallika Sherawat, Neha Dhupia & Kareena Kapoor's controversial backless shot in their respective films.

According to a sources in the Strangers unit, director Anand Rai felt that it was a very emotional scene in a bath tub, and it was essential for the scene to be shot. He had also informed Sonali about the semi-nude scene since it was an integral part of the film. Initially he was a bit apprehensive if Sonali Kulkarni would do the scene but to his surprise, Sonali being very professional and accommodating agreed to expose, since it was a requirement in the script. However the director ensured that only the minimal people required shooting the film were present for the particular scene.

The sources add that director Anand Rai incorporated the scene in Strangers, since it takes the story ahead. They were no intention to add sleaze since the film is not based on sleaze but a shocking tale of the protagonist being Strangers in their respective marriages.

Stranger is about the emotional turmoil, mind games and a shockingly devious plot that forms the crux of the emotional thriller starring Jimmy Shergill, Kay Kay Menon, Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni.

Sahara One's Motion Picture were so impressed by the film that it bought the rights and will be presenting Strangers.

Deepika Padukone was born on 5 January 1986 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She has done her schooling in Bangalore. She has been modelling appearances in print and television advertising campaigns for Liril soap, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca, receiving many prestigious modelling offers, including brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India, an annual jewellery exhibition. "It is true that we chatted a lot and even flirted with each other, but that does not mean that we were sleeping together," she explained adding that during that time according to the best of her knowledge, Yuvi was going very strong with actress Kim Sharma.

Lekha Washinton finally opens her mouth

Lehak washinton, the new sexy entry of Kollywood finally spoke up from her heart. Lekha Washinton is the heroine of film Kettavan (Bad boy), but before the completion of the film there was lot of troubles in the film and the film unit.

Kettavan was starred by simbu the nasty worst boy of Kollywood who try to hookup with all the heroines of his film. Lekha was working with SS Music when the offer of Kettavan came up. She was happy to start her kollywood career but in the middle of the film there were rumors that Lekha Washinton was not in film anymore.

Instead of Lekha, simbu was trying Trisha or Asin who are in peak of their career. When contacted Lekah and simbu both rejected the rumor as baseless and Lekha was confirmed that she is still in the film. But there was some problem with the finance for the film (simbu is known to waste the producer's money for nothing). Due to this the film got dropped or postponed indefinetely.

Lekha was sad because this might make her cinematic dreams an end. But now Lekha washington got another offer from SatyaJyothi films which directed Batsha by rajni. Lekha Washinton told to reporters that, she feels that she is still in the film and none can question her acting skills.

Salman says Yes to Madame Tussauds

Salman Khan has finally accepted the offer form Madame Tussauds museum in London to display his life size wax statue alongside renowned international celebrities. Salman will be the fourth Indian cine star to find a space in the museum after Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwariya Bachchan. The actor's statue will be unveiled in early 2008.

It may be mentioned that the actor had stunned the world by initially rejected the offer thinking it to be a joke. The star accepted the offer after being voted by his fans. The poll was conducted during the summer in collaboration with the British Asian Entertainment magazine Ikonz and BBC Asian Network. The poll which saw over 10000 people participating voted Salman ahead of the other celebrities which included Madhuri Dixit who stood second, Abhishek Bachchan, Hritik Roshan, Rani Mukerjee, Karan Johar, Kajol and Lata Mangeshkar.

The museum which adds around 15 statues every year to its collection has seen a tremendous rise in the footfall among the Asian community after it unveiled the statue of Shahrukh Khan earlier this year. So it may not be a surprise to see many more Indians finding a place in the prestigious museum. Salman is expected to personally unveil his statue in early 2008.

The Seed

A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business. Instead of choosing one of his directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together.

'It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO,' he said. 'I have decided to choose one of you.'

The young executives were shocked, but the boss continued.

'I am going to give each one of you a seed today - a very special seed. I want you to plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with what you have grown with the seed I have given you. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be the next CEO.'

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed. Every day, he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow. Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew. Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing. By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have a plant and he felt like a failure. Six months went by - still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however. He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - he wanted the seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for inspection. Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick at his stomach. It was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed. A few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives. Jim just tried to hide in the back.

'My, what great plants, trees, and flowers you have grown,' said the CEO. 'Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!'

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the financial director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, 'The CEO knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!' When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed. Jim told him the story. The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim.

He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, 'Here is your next Chief Executive! His name is Jim!'

Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow his seed. How could he be the new CEO? The others said.

Then the CEO said, 'One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow. All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive!'

If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.

If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.

If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective.

If you plant hard work, you will reap success.

If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.

So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later

Sometimes we get what we need and not what we want.........

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday, I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems and be decorated with intricate carvings. Everyone would see my beauty."
The second tree said, "Someday, I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."

Finally, the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time, and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. One came to the first tree and said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter," and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest. At the second tree, one of the other woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The a second tree was happy, because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship. When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened, because it knew that, if it was cut down, its dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree, so I'll take this one," and he cut it down.

When the first tree arrived at the carpenter's, he was made into a feed box for animals, placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth, and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose, and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace," and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets, and the crowd mocked the man who was carrying it. Finally, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus Christ had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that, when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

Sherin is the reason for Simbu and Tarun Breakup

We started to enquire about this in film unit. one source told that, the incident is real and it was a huge fight. The reason for the fight is not just the Ego of Simbu but also Sherin. Why Simbu needs to get EGo with the director. More over Tarun was the director for the film Kalai (Bull) starring Simbu. Upon going deep in the roots of the problem it is found that, Simbu started to enter his nasty nose in each and every decision of Tarun and he started to give advice regarding the direction.

More over Simbu tried to project himself as director. These made Tarun unhappy and more over, Tarun is more close with Sherin. Simbu is the play boy in Kollywood and how he will allow another one to take over his place. So he started to do all politics against Tarun and Sherin. Due to the friendship Tarun made the Heroine role as more important. This angered simbu and he started all the problems in sets.

Why Alicia Keys was branded a lesbian

London (ANI): R&B superstar Alicia Keys has realised why she was branded a lesbian at the beginning of her career because she was "rough around the edges".

Keys" sexuality became the subject of speculation after the release of her debut album 'Songs In A Minor' in 2001.

However, the singer has been adamant she isn't a lesbian but has admitted that her appearance and attitude may have led people to think so.

"I was definitely rough around the edges. I look back at certain interviews and I'm like, 'Damn! Did I have to look that hard? Did I have to do my hair that way?' The Sun quoted Keys, as saying.

"I could see why people couldn't see the diamond in the rough.

"I didn't take it to heart. I know what I am. I know it's not true," she added.

Leave the World A Bit Better

One of Ralph Waldo Emerson works was a poem on success, and one of his measures of success in that poem was to, 'Leave
the world a bit better.'

That line has always stuck in my head. Emerson said you have succeeded if you leave the world a bit better. And I have made that line part of my life philosophy. When the tide goes out there is a watermark left behind of where the water was.

When the waters of life recede from the shore of my being and my heart pumps for the last time, my desire is that there will be a mark where I stood. My aim is that the mark will say, 'For some decades a man occupied this space who saw others more important than himself and efforted to leave the world a better place for them and those yet to come.'

Our society tells us that success is measured by bank accounts, power, beauty and wealth. These are often the result of hard work, luck or birth. They are not evil and I strive for some of them daily. However, they are not the mark I will measure the success of my life with.

So how do you do it? How do you 'leave the world a bit better?':

* You give a percent of your income away to a charity or church. This makes your community better.

* You save a percentage of your income to pass down to your family when you leave.

* You volunteer your time for those who are less fortunate. Are you volunteering anywhere?

* You mentor someone who needs a positive direction in life.

* You follow and get involved in politics. Our laws and leaders will determine the future. You can have a hand in that future.

Or you can amass as much wealth as you can, spend it as fast as you can on the fading desires of your heart and seek to please yourself first. Our culture might tell you that this is success. Emerson tells us that it is not. I encourage you to realize that the waters of your life will eventually withdraw from the shore. When it does, will there be a watermark?
