Mangalyan the Mars Orbiter Mission Just started

Mangalyan the Mars Orbiter Mission Just started

Yesterday this time, India Marked its name in the history as the Fourth Nation to send a satellite to the red giant planet Mars. At 2:38 (14:38 IST), India`s own rocket PSLV took the Mars Orbiter Mission vehicle to an Earth parking orbit of of approximately 250 by 23500 km. now the MOM is waiting there with smile face to gain the required velocity to leave earth.

US and Russia Sent many probes to Mars but what`s new in Indian Mission is its cost to achieve. It is just 1/10th of the US mission cost. in Just 450 crores we are achieving this feat, now think about what we will do if we have 4500 crore.

Here are some lovely images of the Take off of PSLV from sriharikotta yesterday

We always had this in us "Touch the Sky with Glory - Indian Airforce" We did it first with chandrayan which tasted its success in it`s first mission (not even USA had first mission success), now We will definitely achieve the success on first mission to Mars. Now we need to rewrite this phrase, Touch the Sky and beyond with Glory.

The Indian inter planetary Space odyssey has just began, Now it`s time to wait for next 10 months to set our feet in Mars.
