Porn star Sunny Leone enters Bigg Boss House

Porn-star Sunny Leone enters Bigg Boss House

Bigg Boss should be Banned

Sunny Leone enters the Bigg Boss House

It`s tough to find a single `normal` picture of Sunny Leone on the Internet and the reason is simple – she is an Indo-Candian Porn-star! The 30-year-old businesswoman and model, was also on Maxim`s list of top 12 porn stars in 2010. "I`ve always wanted to enter Bollywood and Bigg Boss is the first professional offer that has come my way. I do what I do outside India and I am what I am, but I run my career professionally, so this was the best offer for me. These are my roots, this is who I am. I keep coming to India to visit my relatives who mostly stay in the north," Leone told the news agency PTI. Born to Punjabi parents in Ontario, Leone says she keeps visiting India and has grown up watching Hindi films. That was about what Sunny Leone, but seems like Team Endemol has decided to show all forbidden acts right from fighting with your housemates, to abusing, hitting your inmates, breaking things, crossing all limits in disrespecting others, shouting and screaming, to showcasing erratic behavior. And now Porn stars would also get fame and adulation. Human behavior considered inappropriate is getting glamorized and justified, leaving a message for the common man that being a Porn star can also get you glamour, fame, money and even respect in the society.

Let`s compare Rageshwari, who was `a much better person` than Pooja Mishra, yet people wanted her to be Out of the house, purely because Inspirational Entertainment no longer interests anybody. Just like how Poonam Pandey was offered Akshay Kumar`s Khatron key Khiladi and has been projected like a celebrity despite her sleazy image and open declarations. This only shows how low people are willing to stoop to get famous. Being controversial is considered better than being good. As per rumors Poonam Pandey was offered to be on the show, but Bigg Boss now has a better option Ms. Sunny Leone!

What we watch on TV leaves impacts us a great deal. Especially on the young generation, who probably are getting confused about the difference between ethical and unethical. Shows like Bigg Boss, Roadies and Splitsvilla are loved by youngsters especially because of the controversial content. It`s becoming Coolto be Mean, and being Bad is considered way more classy than being Good. It was refreshing to see Salman Khan scolding VJ Siddharth for abusing and trying to kick Pooja Mishra. Thank God! For a change, at least someone didn`t just act like a mock viewer but rather gave a strong opinion for something which was highly immoral. Kudos to Salman for pointing out that no matter how much how you dislike someone, its incorrect to hit them, abuse and disrespect them in public!

Despite being a Die Hard Bigg Boss fan I feel it`s high time that shows like Bigg Boss should be banned, before they start influencing the sub-conscious minds of young viewers, doing a lot of Damage. Bigg Boss is nothing but a daily dose of Sleaze, Abusing, Disregard, Enviousness on National TV and that`s exactly the opposite of what Indian culture and values teach. On the other hand, the reason why Amitabh Bachchan`s KBC on Sony Channelbroke all records when it came to TRP`s was that it showed how a common man, if given a chance, can also do wonders. Amitabh Bachchan acts like a `role model` and has several peole emulating his courtesy and politeness His endearing smiles gave courage to contestants who came from the remotest corners of the country with dreams and hopes in their hearts. He encouraged numerous contestants who had not just personal goals but also dreamt of fulfilling the dreams of their family members as well. We as Indians as always proudly flaunt the moto and vision of unity in diversity. Despite the western influence, our culture teaches how to respect everyone, using `aap` for not only for our elders, but also our strangers. We believe in giving the best upbringing (Sanskars) to our younger lot and love everyone. All these years we boycotted living in an individualistic society, but things are changing now and I blame they way we get entertained nowadays. So what if the abuses are muted or beeped? So what if no one is allowed to hit other people on reality shows? So what we still don`t have porn readily available on TV? Abusing, being promiscuous, donning clothes equaling bikinis don`t set the right tone and example.

I remember how worried our parents used to be when we used watch too many romantic songs on TV or began wearing clothes that exposed . . . Freedom is good but not at the cost of corrupting generations to come. I guess it`s high time that someone should put an end to this kind of sleazy entertainment. India is the only country in whole world that has never waged a war against any other nation in the last 4800 years. We have walked on the path of self-defense for years and despite cultural diversities, taught our generations to love all. Then why now, spoil it all... Let`s clean entertainment, it`s getting polluted.
